Pokemon GO is going to debut Sylveon during the Luminous Legends Y event, and players can anticipate this Fairy-type Pokemon arriving on their phone screens later this month.

The first part of the Luminous Legends Y event will begin on May 18 and end on May 24. In the second part of the event, which begins on May 25 and ends on May 31, will feature Sylveon.

The second part of the Luminous Legends Y event will include Eevee-related research quests. Players can also obtain Sylveon-related objects from the Pokemon GO shop.

Trainers can obtain Sylveon through evolving Eevee during the second part of the Luminous Legends Y event. You should evolve Eevee by making it your Buddy Pokemon and gaining hearts from it. Fans suspect that Shiny Eevee can evolve into Shiny Sylveon.

Players can also obtain other Eevee evolutions such as Flareon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Espeon, Glaceon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon in Pokemon GO.

Sylveon’s go-to moves are Dazzling Gleam and Charm in Pokemon GO. This Fairy-type Pokemon is also more resistant to Dragon-, Dark-, Bug-, and Fighting-type Pokemon. However, you shouldn’t use this Fairy-type against Poison- and Steel-type Pokemon.

Designed with ribbon-like fur and pink ears, Sylveon was first introduced during Generation VI. This Fairy-type Pokemon emits a calming aura in order to mediate between battles.

When a legendary Pokémon lands into Pokémon Go, players are curious how it will settle in with the current meta. Some choices become routine options in the Master League, and others settle into the Ultra or Great League if their CP doesn’t reach high enough. It all depends, especially given the standard reduction in stats they receive before their official release. What also matters is how their stats blend with their moveset. Yveltal will release without a shiny option and with quite a diverse moveset, so we highly recommend you beat it in five star raids to capture it. But is it good?

Yveltal is a Dark and Flying-type Pokémon. It is weak against Electric, Fairy, Ice, and Rock-type moves, but it is resistant against Dark, Ghost, Grass, Ground, and Psychic-type attacks. When using it in PvP, Yveltal has a maximum CP of 3,781, an attack of 209, a defense of 158, and stamina of 206. If you use it in PvE battles and raids, Yvetal’s attack becomes 250, defense becomes 185, and its stamina is 246.

When you’re using Yveltal for PvP encounters, you want to keep it in the Master League or the Master League Classic. In its standard form, you want to keep it in the Master League Classic. But if you can receive enough candy and grind it out to power it up using XL candy, you can throw it back into the standard Master League, and it will become one of the stronger staples in Pokémon Go’s PvP scene. It’s extraordinarily good with the amount of attack it has, its diverse moveset, and its overall weaknesses. It’ll fall against most Fairy, Ice, or Rock-types or attacks, but its moveset makes this a bit more manageable to remain a threat.

What makes Yveltal exceptionally good is that it’s resistant to Ghost, Ground, and Psychic-types, and it exploits Steel-types through one of its powerful charged moves, focus blast. It has a variety of coverage that it can use throughout Pokémon Go, especially in the Master League. The one downside is that it is weak to Fairy-type attacks, which will be the real showstopper. You’ll need a Pokémon in your team to counter this, such as using a Poison or Steel-type attack to eliminate it.

We highly recommend you go after Yveltal when it becomes available. It’s a Pokémon that can be used in a variety of situations, and beyond having a handful of weaknesses, you won’t find too many Pokémon superior than it in the Master League or Master League Classic.

Synopsis

A live-action film based on the popular Pokémon franchise. Plot details are unknown right now. Artwork is from the first Pokémon movie.

The 20-year old franchise, Pokémon, started as a pair of video games created for the original Game Boy console. The game was created in 1995 by Satoshi Tajiri. The Pokémon Company is a shared franchise copyright of three companies namely Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures. Nintendo, however, is the sole owner of the trademark.

Game Freak developed the video games with Nintendo as the publisher. To date it has spawned many more video games, comic books, animated tv shows, trading card games, and other merchandises such as toys, clothes, accessories, and school supplies.

Pokémon is the contraction of Pocket Monsters, which has evolved into seven generations of fictional species to date. Tajiri took inspiration from one of his childhood pastimes, collecting insects. Players take the role of Pokémon Trainers who want to collect every Pokémon. Their duties include taking care of the eggs until they hatch and training the monsters until they are ready to battle it out with the Pokémon of other players.

The most popular species of Pokémon is Pikachu. The character was created and designed by Atsuko Nishida and Ken Sugimori. The species first appeared in the first generation game, Pokémon Red and Green (Blue replaced Green in North America), and went on to become one of the main characters in the Pokémon anime series. Pikachu is the mascot of the franchise, and one of Nintendo’s biggest stars.

The game’s main character is a Pokémon trainer named Ash Ketchum, a 10 year old kid aspiring to become a Pokémon master. A Pokémon researcher, Professor Oak, gives him Pikachu who at first made it difficult for Ash to train him. They soon form a loving bond and throughout their journey they befriend and battle a lot of trainers and Pokémon.

The franchise celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2016 in a big way. It released the augmented reality game Pokémon Go, which can be played using mobile phones. It also released its first two seventh generation games, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
