• Alolan Diglett Sidequest Rewards

In the Isle of Armor (DLC), there’s a side-quest about finding 150 Alolan Diglett (technically 151 with the initial one that triggers the side-quest) scattered throughout.

As you find them and they go back to the Hiker who first lost them, he gives you certain Pokémon as rewards, most of which cannot normally be obtained in-game, otherwise (at least not in these Forms). Each of these Pokémon will have 3 perfect IVs (except the Diglett, which has 6), and all will have their Hidden Abilities.

  • Alternate Intro Screen

Every time you beat the Champion Cup (Sword and Shield’s version of the Pokémon League/Elite Four Challenge), the Intro/Start screen will change to reflect the team you had with you when completing this task. This change first applies when you first win the Cup, at the end of the main story, changing the “single Poké Ball in the Stadium” screen with this one, having you and your Pokémon team standing in the Stadium.

  • Chain Fishing for Brilliant Pokémon

Fishing can increase your chances of encountering Brilliant Pokémon (Pokémon giving off a yellow aura, which know an Egg Move). Differing from standard Encounter Chaining, the number of times you’ve battled any one specie won’t matter at all for fishing; instead, you’ll simply need to defeat as many Pokémon consecutively as you can, no matter which specie appears.

The chain will break if you fail to reel a Pokémon in, if you catch a Pokémon, run away from a Pokémon, leave the area or turn off your game.

The number of successful hooks goes towards your chances of encountering a Brilliant Pokémon, and the thresholds are as follows.

    Unlockable How to Unlock
    1. Brilliant Pokémon may appear 0–2 successful hooks
    2. Brilliant Pokémon have 1.3× the likelihood of appearing 3-6 successful hooks
    3. Brilliant Pokémon have 3.3× the likelihood of appearing 7-14 successful hooks
    4. Brilliant Pokémon have 6.6× the likelihood of appearing 15-24 successful hooks
    5. Brilliant Pokémon have 16.6× the likelihood of appearing 25+ successful hooks

If you put at least one Pokémon inside each one of these Boxes, exit the Storage System and re-enter it, more Boxes will be added; this can be repeated to unlock up to 31 Boxes, with the final one being unlocked after you catch Eternatus (story event).

Each of these Boxes can hold up to 30 Pokémon each, for a total storage space of 960 Pokémon on one save file.
