  • Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Minimap Reveals Multiple New Pokémon

The latest trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet had a minimap with three new Pokémon that have yet to be officially announced by Nintendo.

The latest trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has accidentally revealed three new Pokémon that have yet to be officially revealed by The Pokémon Company. These Pokémon are technically already known to fans, as they have been mentioned in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet leaks that have made the rounds online.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet take place in the Paldea region, which features brand-new Pokémon, as well as variants and evolutions of existing Pokémon, such as the newly-announced Farigiraf evolution of Girafarig. The Pokémon Company has been gradually unveiling these new Pokémon in trailers, with the three Paldean starter Pokémon being revealed in the announcement video for the games. The identity of many of the new Pokémon and features that have yet to be revealed through leaks, but there are still many details about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that have yet to be unveiled.

The most recent Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer on The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel showed off some of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet‘s open-world features, with the player able to see nearby Pokémon on the minimap. This trailer seemingly revealed more than was intended, though, since the minimap showed Pokémon that have yet to be announced – as seen on the Centro Leaks Twitter page. The minimap showed a Rookidee from Pokémon Sword and Shield, along with three new Pokémon designs.
