“New Pokemon Snap” fans will have something to look forward to as Niantic announced that there will be a massive update for the popular adventure title on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite systems.

‘New Pokemon Snap’ Nintendo Switch August Update: Lental Region New Areas; Barren Badlands and MORE!
The giant game publisher confirmed that the advanced in-game changes will be launched this coming Aug. 4, only a few days ahead.
“Welcome to the Lental region, whose islands hold everything from dense jungles to vast deserts! New Pokémon Snap is an all-new game inspired by the 1999 Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap,” announced the game developer.

“This Nintendo Switch adventure will take you from island to island on an ecological survey, photographing Pokémon and building your own Pokémon Photodex!” added Niantic.
‘New Pokemon Snap’ Major Details
According to the official press release of Niantic, the upcoming “New Pokemon GO Snap” will offer new areas across the Lental Region, as well as new pocket monsters you can photograph. Specifically, there will be 20 additional Pokemon that you definitely need to discover.

Niantic confirmed that you can install the new version of the current “Pokemon Snap” for free once the release date arrives. You can download the new content update starting at exactly 2:00 a.m. BST this August 4.
